The Maker's Manifesto
Making is part of our DNA.
We humans have been makers ever since we discovered, about 2.6 million years ago in Africa, that a sharp rock makes a fantastic tool. Not content to leave finding sharp rocks to chance and luck, we started making our own tools by chipping away at rocks to make them sharp.
It is what sets us apart from the animals. This urge to make.
Even if you haven't made anything for years, it's still there, the urge to make. It's part of who we are.
