Here are the words and my poem for the forty-eighth week of the 2019 Poetry Challenge.

The words are from a talented spoon carver and the challenge I set myself was to come up with something fresh and original. To take the poem somewhere surprising and unexpected. I'm not entirely sure if I succeeded but it was certainly fun trying!
