Fifteen seems to be the number for this week. Last week was the first Firekeeprs camp after a fifteen month break due to the pandemic. And today it is the fifteenth birthday of my oldest girl.

It's hard to imagine or remember that mama I once was: struggling with all the joys and challenges that a new born baby brings and wondering if it got any easier. I'm not sure what I would tell that mama if I could go back in time but I do know that I loved my girl the best I could. 

It's such a privelege and an honour to spend my time with this amazing young girl on the cusp of adulthood. She is funny, creative, intelligent, determined and not afraid to speak up and speak her truth.
